Summary
A CPA and CFP® client Aurmis had worked with before at a financial advisory firm was launching his own tax preparation and planning agency and in need of our services. Aurmis provided the client with a brand identity, website design, and technology services to hit the ground running and quickly expand his footprint.
Additionally, in collaboration with the client, Aurmis developed his brand name with SEO considerations and future expansion efforts in mind. Playing off the owner’s last name, Tranquilli, we used the “tranquil” part of his name as inspiration and Sereno Advisors was born.
Brand Identity

The Sereno Advisors logo was crafted to convey a modern approach with an established professionalism, utilizing the logomark for one and the logotype for the other. With the logomark, we wanted to show a partnership of two entities joining together with clarity at the center — referencing the relationship between Sereno Advisors, the financial advisors they work with, and the client centrally focused. As an added bonus, an “S” turned on its side is subtly represented from the arrangement of shapes and shadows. Lastly, we used a typeface that was a modern take on capitalis monumentalis — the formal, monumental type used for inscriptions on Roman buildings and monuments and often used in association with government and financial institutions.
The Sereno Advisors brand color palette is primarily consists of a vibrant and modern blue and accented by varying shades of black. This simple color palette allows for easy brand recognition and consistency.
